I have been following Jaymie on Instagram for a while now. I have always loved her landscape photos and found out following her was a great way to find some new places to adventure to myself. More recently, I saw some pictures of the beautiful light in her apartment and thought, “It would be so fun to photograph her at home.” Then I began thinking that it would be fun to photograph even more instagrammers in their homes, especially ones with a penchant for adventure. I shared this idea with Jaymie and she was so sweet to say yes and be my first photographer in what will hopefully be a long series of connecting with others.
We meet at Sally Loo’s and walked over to her place. She’s a dreamer as well, so we talked about cross-country road trips to make new friends while pursuing what you love to do. We also talked about the struggle on being present vs. documenting life and telling a story. I left feeling thankful for the networks like instagram that can randomly bring you together with beautiful people such as Jaymie. I also left wishing I stayed longer. If you don’t follow her yet, you can check out her inspiring work at The Living View and give her a follow on instagram.
I love this Tina! An inspiration that beauty really comes from our own lives and spaces we create and inhabit. Thanks for taking on this project. Can’t wait to see more!
Cute! Love this!
