I’m biased, but I believe it’s true that San Luis Obispo is one of the most beautiful towns to get married in. And, again, biased here, but Flying Caballos Ranch is one of the most beautiful venues in the most beautiful towns. It is a VRBO where the wedding party can stay onsite in two adorable and beautifully decorated house. There is even a little honeymoon suite on the property.
It was a central coast destination wedding for Ashley and Jon, who love traveling. They decorated the venue with photos from their adventures. October has become one of the most popular months to get married in San Luis Obispo and I’m really wishing we had that warm fall sunshine right now. I especially loved all the fall colors they incorporated into their flowers. I can on and on about the deep blue sky that covered them as they made their commitments to loving each other, and the way that people’s chins wrinkled as they held back happy tears or even the enormous face cut-outs of Jon and Ashley that their wedding party surprised them with while they were dancing. But I’ll just express my deep gratitude for being invited to such a special day. Ashley and Jon, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to be a small part of your day. I’m so honored to see your love for each other and for your loved ones up close. Meeting people like you both is really the best part of my job.
A special thank you to Austyn Ford who second shot with me. You were stellar as always. Thank you also, to Sarah, who is the Flying Caballos Ranch on-site coordinator. You are top-notch and helped make the day come together seamlessly.
