Flying Caballos Persian American Wedding

Fling Caballos Persian American Wedding

Amy and Nima’s Persian American wedding was filled with love, tradition, family, excellent food, and an amazing dance party. The guests could hardly stay in their seats when the music was playing right before dinner. I don’t remember seeing anyone sitting down around the dance floor (the grandma’s led the dancing). Flora and Fauna made the most amazing spread of appetizers and dinner.

Their Story

Amy and Nima met in San Luis Obispo at Cal Poly. Even though they didn’t date in college, Nima still had a thing for Amy. Fast forward a few years and Nima was living in London while Amy was in San Francisco. She sent him a facebook message saying she was going to be traveling in Europe and would he like to met up? That began a long distance romance that brought them flying back a forth to see each other (this is definitely a movie I would watch). He then moved to San Francisco to be with Amy. From all the toasts we heard, it sounds like their friend group has had the best time with the two of them (see the image of them being “iced” below). I also loved watching them interact with each other’s families. You can tell everyone was equally excited to be making it all official and coming together to celebrate these two. This was definitely a wedding where I felt so honored the whole day to be a small part of it all.
