Since a full on Big Sur engagement isn’t possible right not (most of Big Sur is closed from mudslides, birdges falling apart, and other rain damage), I met up with Tiffany and Kevin north of Big Sur. We tried to drive as close as we could to get some beautiful beach sunset portraits. I love being able to ride in the car with couples to get to know them better before a shoot. We talked about vocational happiest, Big Little Lies (which is actually filmed at the beach we ended up at), vocation, gig society, and everything inbetween. They are such a sweet couple and I’m pretty pumped to shoot their Novato wedding this fall!

This is the Big Sur engagement session that most people reference while searching for locations. While it’s going to be a long time before all of these spots reopen, we can still get creative with some other gorgeous Central Coast locations.
