seattle travel adventure

Seattle is my city crush. It contains amazing food at every turn (Crumpet Shop shout-out!), breathtaking landscape, and one of my dearest friends, Caela. I try to visit at least every other year to get my fill. So, when I found out we still had left-over miles from our 2012 travels, I immediately bought my flights to Seattle for a long-weekend. I think I get just as excited about visiting here as any other adventure we have been on.

Since my flight got in late on Friday night, we got a late start yesterday for “snow hiking”, which was our failed attempt to rent snowshoes at 1pm on a gorgeous day. No worries though, we arrived just in time for some already-packed snow and faired well with 1 pair of snowshoes for Caela, whose shoes weren’t waterproof.

Thank you to my gracious hosts, Caela and Sean. Seeing you guys is always a highlight of my year.
